The BARTEC BCS3608ex-IS is an ultra-rugged corded hand-held scanner for hazardous areas. It is based on the Zebra DS3608-HP and approved for ATEX/IECEx/UKEX Zone 1/21.
The SE4750-HP imager reads virtually any 1D and 2D barcode, even when damaged, dirty, poorly printed or under shrink wrap. It also captures OCR, photos and documents. With Multi-Code Data Formatting you capture up to 20 barcodes with one trigger pull.
The scanner is dust and water proof to IP65 and survives multiple 3 m drops to concrete and 7,500 tumbles from 1 m. Zebra's free 123Scan and Scanner Management Service tools let you configure the scanner and update firmware.
The BCS3608ex-IS is ideal for fixed workstations. It connects to the universal supply module (corded), which provides intrinsically safe power and data communication (RS232, RS422, RS485 or USB) to your system.
Please note: Operation requires a universal supply module (corded) and a connection cable. These are not included.
