Xshielder iPhone 17 ATEX Z1 256GB

The Xshielder iPhone 17 ATEX Z1 is an ATEX-certified smartphone for Zone 1 and Zone 21. Xshielder fits a standard Apple iPhone 17 into an Ex enclosure marked II 2G Ex db IIC T6 Gb (gas) and II 2D Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db (dust), certificate FIDI 26 ATEX 0025X, for an ambient temperature of -20°C to +50°C.

According to Xshielder this is the lightest and slimmest Zone 1 certified smartphone: 330 grams and 16.1 mm thick. It puts the latest Apple technology in your hands in the hazardous area, with the familiar iOS experience.

The iPhone 17 has a 6.3 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, the Apple A19 processor, a 48 MP Dual Fusion camera with 2x optical zoom and an 18 MP front camera with Face ID. All 4 microphones and both speakers remain usable. The 3,692 mAh battery lasts a full working day and charges wirelessly at up to 25 W.

Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. The device uses eSIM as standard; Xshielder can install a physical SIM on request. A lanyard hole according to NS-9611 supports safe work at height, and the 1/4 inch tripod mount makes mounting easy.

Please note: this is the ATEX-only version (XS1-SP-G02-C01-S01, lid attached with screws). If you need IECEx, ask for the ATEX and IECEx version (XS1-SP-G02-C01-S02). The enclosure may only be opened by Xshielder or Xshielder authorised personnel.
