The Xshielder iPad Pro 11" is the first iPad Pro for hazardous areas. Xshielder integrates the Apple 11-inch iPad Pro with M5 chip into an Ex d enclosure for ATEX Zone 1 and 21. Your technicians, inspectors and operators can now work inside the zone with a large premium screen, desktop-class processing power and a Pro camera, instead of outdated Ex equipment.

The 11-inch Ultra Retina XDR Tandem OLED display (2420 x 1668 pixels, ProMotion up to 120 Hz) makes drawings, schematics and manuals easy to read. The Apple M5 chip with 9-core CPU and 10-core GPU runs demanding apps smoothly. This configuration has 256 GB of storage and Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. The 12 MP camera and LiDAR scanner let you document inspections and measure spaces. The landscape 12 MP Center Stage camera supports video calls and Face ID.

The enclosure keeps all 4 microphones and 4 speakers of the iPad working, so you can communicate clearly inside the zone. Via USB-C it charges to 50% in 30 minutes with a 60 W adapter. A 1/4 inch tripod mount and a lanyard point according to NS-9611 (for safe work at height, testing pending) make the tablet suitable for mounting and use at height.

Xshielder's patented design makes the enclosure replaceable. If the enclosure is damaged, you only replace the enclosure. When it is time to upgrade, the iPad can be removed and traded in or resold, and both the iPad and the enclosure can be recycled. The enclosure may only be opened by Xshielder authorised personnel.
