The Teltonika TRB501 is a compact industrial 5G gateway engineered for applications that demand reliable, high-throughput and secure wireless connectivity under extreme operating conditions. The device incorporates a 5G Sub-6GHz SA/NSA module supporting download speeds of up to 2.4/3.4 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 900/550 Mbps via a 3GPP Release 16 modem. A 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps Ethernet port compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards provides high-capacity wired backhaul connectivity.

The enclosure is manufactured from anodized aluminum and features compact dimensions of 100 x 30 x 93.4 mm at a weight of 241 grams. The TRB501 is rated for an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 75 °C, enabling deployment in industrial and outdoor environments subject to extreme thermal variation.

The device supports industrial communication protocols including Modbus TCP, DNP3 and DLMS/COSEM, facilitating direct integration with SCADA systems, smart energy grids and telemetry infrastructure. The TRB501 operates on RutOS, an OpenWrt-based Linux operating system, and supports a comprehensive VPN suite including OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier and Tailscale.

Power is supplied through a 4-pin industrial DC connector with an input voltage range of 9 to 30 VDC, incorporating overvoltage protection, reverse polarity protection and surge protection up to 51 VDC at 10 µs. Power consumption is below 1.5 W at idle and below 5 W at maximum load, ensuring energy-efficient operation in continuously running applications.

The TRB501 features two configurable digital I/O ports on the 4-pin power connector and is fully compatible with the Teltonika Remote Management System for remote configuration, firmware management and fleet-wide monitoring.
