The UK Underwater Kinetics 4AA eLED RFL yellow is an intrinsically safe flashlight designed for ATEX Zone 0 and Zone 20 where gas and dust hazards may be present. It delivers a powerful 225 lm output which ensures clear visibility for inspection and operational tasks. The wide angle beam reaches 121 m allowing long range illumination during field activities. The IP67 enclosure protects the device against dust ingress and temporary immersion up to one meter. The housing is constructed from ABS and LEXAN polycarbonate materials providing durability and corrosion resistance. The runtime of approximately 06:30 hours supports extended use during shifts. Its compact structure measuring 158 x 41 x 36 mm and total weight of 158 g ensures ergonomic handling. Power is supplied by four AA alkaline batteries enabling straightforward replacement when required. The ATEX marking II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga and II 1D Ex ia IIIC T75°C Da confirms compliance with European safety standards for hazardous locations. The RFL flashlight can also be mounted to protective helmets using compatible Underwater Kinetics clips.
