The BARTEC ET65EX2 Windows Tablet is a rugged 10.1-inch Windows 11 tablet for ATEX/IECEx Zone 2/22. BARTEC developed it together with Zebra Technologies for safe work in the energy, chemical and process industries.
With an Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 125U processor, 16 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD it runs demanding Windows software, including AI applications, as smoothly as in the office. Windows 11 Pro fits straight into your existing IT environment and management.
The 1,000 nit Gorilla Glass display is readable in bright sunlight and works with a bare finger, a heavy glove or the included passive stylus, without changing settings. Even in the rain.
This model comes without a barcode scanner; a version with built-in Zebra SE55 scanner is also available. Besides Wi-Fi 7, the ET65EX2 adds 5G (nano SIM + eSIM, private 5G supported) and GNSS, for work beyond the company network.
The battery can be swapped in the field (outside the Ex zone); a super capacitor keeps the tablet running for at least 60 seconds during the swap. The tablet is IP66 rated, drop tested to 1.5 m on concrete (MIL-STD-810H) and offers facial recognition, TPM and a privacy shutter for the front camera.
Please note: Charging accessories are not included. Change the battery outside the hazardous area only; in the hazardous area the supplied screws for the I/O ports and battery must be tightened.
