The BARTEC BCS3678ex-IS is an ultra-rugged cordless (Bluetooth) hand-held scanner for hazardous areas. It is based on the Zebra DS3678-HP and approved for ATEX/IECEx/UKEX Zone 1/21 and NEC Class I, II, III Division 1.
The SE4750-HP imager reads virtually any 1D and 2D barcode, even when damaged, dirty, poorly printed or under shrink wrap. It also captures OCR, photos and documents. With Multi-Code Data Formatting you capture up to 20 barcodes with one trigger pull.
The scanner is dust and water proof to IP65 and survives multiple 3 m drops to concrete and 7,500 tumbles from 1 m. Zebra's free 123Scan and Scanner Management Service tools let you configure the scanner and update firmware.
The BCS3678ex-IS works cordless via Bluetooth Class 1 (4.0 Low Energy) with a range of up to 100 m in open field, through the universal supply module Bluetooth, a base station or another Bluetooth device. The Li-ion battery (2,800 mAh) charges in the base station or the 4-slot battery charger.
Please note: Charging requires a base station or 4-slot battery charger, data transfer a universal supply module or base station with cable. These are not included. Change and charge the battery outside the hazardous area only.
