The Teltonika RUT951 is a compact industrial 4G LTE router developed for professional IoT and M2M applications requiring reliable mobile connectivity, network redundancy and comprehensive management capabilities. The device is equipped with a 4G LTE Cat 4 module supporting download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps, with fallback support to 3G and 2G for areas with limited 4G coverage. Two external SIM card holders provide automatic switching based on signal quality, data limit, roaming status or network availability, guaranteeing continuous connectivity and business continuity.

The device features four Fast Ethernet ports consisting of one WAN port and three LAN ports at 10/100 Mbps, compliant with IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u standards. Wi-Fi connectivity based on IEEE 802.11b/g/n provides wireless access for up to 100 simultaneous clients with support for WPA2-Enterprise and WPA2-PSK security. The RUT951 incorporates one digital input and one digital open-collector output on the 4-pin industrial power connector, enabling direct integration with sensors, alarm systems and PLC applications.

Industrial protocols including Modbus TCP and DNP3 are natively supported, enabling direct integration with SCADA systems and telemetry infrastructure. The device operates on RutOS, an OpenWrt-based Linux operating system, and supports a comprehensive VPN suite including OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier, DMVPN and Tailscale.

The enclosure is manufactured from aluminum with plastic panels, provides an IP30 ingress protection rating and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 75 °C, enabling deployment in industrial and outdoor environments with extreme temperature variation. Power is supplied via a 4-pin industrial DC connector with an input range of 9 to 30 VDC, supplemented by passive PoE input via the LAN port.
